The brief: Find a close match to the infamous couch, Jeremy Allen White’s beautiful body laid upon in his viral Calvin Klein ad.
The result: Is it the actual couch? Yes, chef. In an attempt to find the replica, I ended up finding a prop studio that housed the exact same couch Calvin Klein used in the ad. I’ve never bought something so fast in my life!
After sourcing, and racing against our biggest hurdle, time and cultural relevance, the couch was on Facebook Market for fans to discover. This sent the internet into the ultimate frenzy! The listing went viral. Quickly. After breaking the internet, and every publication writing about it, TMZ got Jeremy Allen White himself to comment on it. Everyone wanted the couch. After receiving thousands of inquiries, a deserving buyer was selected. And rather than just handing it off to her, she picked it up from The Drew Barrymore Show alongside Jamie Oliver and Chrissy Teigen.
